The French Fantasy movie he starred in in earlier this year in Cape Town is now out (in France of course!) and the trailer can be viewed here. Very exciting. If you pause on second 36, you can see Russel standing to the left of the lead actor. See the picture below. As Russel says "I is now a movie star"
