Wild flowers of Muogamarra Nature Reserve

We visited this little nature reserve ahout 45 minutes from Sydney and were dazzled by the beautiful spring flowers. Here are some macro shots of some of the species we saw...

We are also expecting spectacular spring flowers up the west coast this year but the sudden cold snap has delayed them. The ones in your nature reserve are beautiful and we hope to visit one day. M & M

ahhh, waratahs & flannel flowers - we don't see them up here...I have many childhood memories of Sunday School picnics at some reserve with so many wildflowers.......don't seem to have such a huge range here....
