Bondi Sculptures by the Sea 2011

I went to Sculptures by the Sea today and it was great, even better than last year and 2008, although there were no saucy boulders this time around.  I went very early and it was a good call.  The weather started dark and overcast and unfriendly for photographs, but it cleared up nicely after a while.  As usual, there were some really quirky sculptures like a skeleton up a ladder!

Cute little critters

LOVE these! So much more exciting than the ones that were up in Cottesloe here earlier this year. Love huge picture frame - great idea. Lots of very clever, innovative stuff here. Nice post. Cheers Nic

My favourite is the kids like a painting in the frame.

About Malick's movies, I saw The Thin Red Line few days ago. The cinematography is stunning. The fantastic in his movies is the way like he tells a story. Always different. He is a visionary. Avant-garde.
Tarantino: I liked Jackie Brown, but I love more Kill Bill, Inglourious Basterds and Pulp Fiction.

Love the kids in the picture frame. And the giant tap!
