45th birthday

We were going to celebrate my birthday at the park, but the weather turned out to be a bit cold and blustery.  So we met at Chris's place instead.  It was a lovely day.  I really am blessed with such a lovely circle of friends. Such a gift.  After the party, we took a walk to Wendy's Secret Garden - a place I absolutely love.

Hi there wonderful beings

I'm having a very informal get together at Milson's Park in Milson's Point this Sunday (27 September) to celebrate my birthday.

If you're free, please come along and join us.  It's a lovely spot on the water and hopefully there'll even be a couple of kayaks available if you're feeling energetic.

If the weather turns out to be non conducive to such festivities, we've got the lovely flat of my friend Chris, close by.

We're meeting from noon on. Bring some "picniccy" type food to share.

Thanks so much for coming yesterday and creating such a special day.  Thank you for your well wishes and gifts and cards but most of all for your lovely presence, for sharing the space.  It's such a gift to be able to share the adventure of life and the inner journey with such beautiful, special people.

Thank you Chris for inspiring the idea, providing the venue and for the delicious cake !

Some of us made our way to Wendy's Secret Garden in Milson's Point late yesterday afternoon.  What a wondrous, beautiful, serene place for the soul.  If you haven't been there, I can't recommend it enough.
