New Year's eve with Brandon and family

A delicious braai and chocolate fondu at Lakeside and then a fun board game to absorb us until the strike of midnight.

Seeing in the New Year (2023)

A wonderful, spontaneous New Year's party at my place.  My home really is in the perfect location for New Year in Sydney.  We met up here for a lovely dinner. Then, we ambled to Larkin Street where I had pitched a tent earlier and so we had some space and a lovely view to enjoy the 9 pm fireworks. We returned to my place for Elna's delicious trifle and dancing.  Then back to the fireworks for a spectacular midnight display.  A very special way to see in 2023.

New Year 's Eve 2017

Jo and I had a fabulous new year's eve in Table View, photographing Table Mountain in the setting sun followed by fireworks on the beach.  It was a chilly night requiring a draped table cloth and hot chocolate to keep warm!  The homemade fireworks were a "wild west" affair but that added to the excitement.  A new year's eve to remember.

Happy New Year

I had a relaxing New Year at Jilly's place in Kirribili with Jilly, Elna and Desmond. Lots of healthy salads and fruit salad and delicious champaign.  We had access to a flat with an unobstructed view of The Opera House. So nice not to have to jostle about with the crowds.

New Year's Eve at the Dubbo RSL Club

The RSL might not be the most exciting venue in the world but it can always be relied on in a strange place.  We had a nice meal and then barely made it to midnight after our exhausting day of cycling about in the heat.
